Ivelet Bridge Summer, Swaledale

Opinions differ on the age of Ivelet Bridge. Some think it was build around 1580, some say it was a century later. What's not disputed is the perfect form and function of the design, which has withheld against the Swale's fast flooding waters and stood the test of time.

Ivelet Bridge Summer was taken in early June, when the water low and slow moving, from a sweet spot the middle of the Swale to create a perfect reflection.
