Richard is a British landscape photographer living and working in Upper Dales region of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With his wife, Polly, Richard owns and runs The Old School Muker Art Gallery & Craft Centre situated in the village of Muker, set within the stunning surroundings of Upper Swaledale.
Richard has been photographing Upper Swaledale for nearly a decade, in all seasons and all weathers, developing his understanding of the geology and landscape features that make this place so special. Inspired by this wonderful landscape he has published two photography books, Kisdon Landscapes and The Muker Wildflower Meadow Photography Guide.

Upper Swaledale is a landscape photographer's dream location. High fells, wild flower meadows, waterfalls, countless field barns, miles and miles of dry stone walls, the remains of old lead workings and more, all easily accessible by car or on foot. It's the ideal location to improve your photography skills or simply enjoy a day out with a camera.

Inspired by the landscape of Upper Swaledale, Richard has produced several photography books, including Kisdon Landscapes, which in the words of Outdoor Photography Magazine "is an inspiring collection that is testament to the virtues of exploring and photographing on your home turf, and the endless opportunities this offers."

Prints
The print is the final expression of a photograph and serves as a wonderful reminder of a place or experience.
Most of the images on the website are available as high quality prints in a number of different sizes, produced using archival standard paper and pigment inks. Each print is produced to order and inspected prior to being shipped.
