Richard is British landscape photographer living and working in Upper Swaledale, the most northerly and magical of the Yorkshire Dales.  

With his partner, Polly, Richard owns and manages The Old School  Art Gallery & Craft Centre in Muker, where you can view his photographs alongside the work of some fabulous artists, print makers and artisans.

Equipment

Eyeballs, a pair of wellies and a step ladder, are the ever present elements as technology and kit move on. 

The photographs on this site were made possible by: Sony cameras combined with Zeiss Loxia manual lenses, the Fuji GFX 100s medium format camera  and  Nikon Z series mirrorless cameras. 

Richard now shoots with Nikon Z equipment, including a Z mount Voigtländer Nokton 40mm F1.2, and his beloved Sony RX1R.
